When joining online, a member enters their phone number and checks a consent box on the club's sign-up form:
2. Paper form (in-club membership agreement)
The club's paper membership agreement includes the same field and consent statement, which the member completes and signs. Signed forms are retained as records of consent.
3. Via text (member-initiated)
A member can also opt in by texting the club's number after seeing an in-club or online call to action ("Text our front desk at [number]"). A compliant welcome message is sent immediately:
